Sleepypod has gained a reputation for reinventing pet products through innovative design since it introduced its mobile pet bed in 2006. The Sleepypod, best described as a pet bed, carrier and car seat, set a new standard for pet travel products. With ultra plush bedding surrounded by a luggage-grade ballistic nylon base, the mobile pet bed transforms into a carrier by simply zipping on its mesh dome. While being used as a car seat, the Sleepypod’s PPRS technology prevents the pet from being ejected while helping to reduce the damaging forces on the pet.
Sleepypod continues to set a high bar for pet product safety thanks to the brand’s testing process for its travel gear, most notably its Clickit car harnesses. In 2018, Sleepypod became the first pet product manufacturer to crash test its pet safety restraints at U.S., Canadian and European child safety restraint systems standards.
