Midwestern Pet Foods (MPF), originally Nunn Milling Company, began milling fine flours and corn meal in 1926. Operating out of Evansville, Indiana, the Nunn family business started making pet food under the Midwestern Pet Foods name in 1982. Now in its fourth generation of Nunn family leadership, MPF manufactures high-quality dry pet food and treats under such brand names as Earthborn Holistic, Ultimates, Wholesomes, Sportmix and CanineX in four, company-owned kitchens across the United States.
The company gives back through its MPF Cares initiatives. To date, MPF has planted over one million trees around the world as part of the UPCs for Trees program. Through the Earthborn ReBorn program, the company is reducing waste in landfills and has recycled 1.5 million bags of its own pet food packaging. In addition, MPF supports military families, with a portion of its sales being donated to Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, helping fund college scholarships for children who’ve lost a parent in the line of duty. To The Rescue is another company initiative to support pets nationwide, which has seen MPF donating over 77,000 pet food meals to shelters and humane societies.
