Its success was immediate; however, what made the product truly innovative was the unexpected crossover appeal. Pet owners quickly noticed that dogs were just as fascinated by the oversized, resilient ball, prompting the adaptation of the design into Tug-N-Toss canine iteration, which introduced features that were largely unseen in the market at launch. Its integrated handle allowed for easy carrying and human-assisted play, while the ball itself could bounce, float and signature JollyFlex construction allowed the ball to maintain its shape even when punctured.
