Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary has been selected as a 2026 Mutts Across America Grant Recipient by Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company, recognizing the Hollywood, South Carolina-based sanctuary’s commitment to providing compassionate care and promoting animal welfare.
Through the Mutts Across America program, one exemplary shelter or rescue organization in each of the 50 states is recognized annually with a surprise grant. Hallie Hill received a $5,000 donation as part of the honor.
“We are honored to receive this recognition from MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company,” said Mike Gibbons, Director of Development at Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary. “This grant reflects the dedication of our staff, volunteers, supporters, and community who make it possible for us to provide the care our animals need every day. We are deeply grateful for this generous support.”
Launched in 2014, Mutts Across America was created by Bev Lambert, mother of country music artist and MuttNation Foundation co-founder Miranda Lambert, to recognize well-run shelters and rescue organizations across the country. The program has become one of MuttNation Foundation’s signature initiatives, with Tractor Supply Company continuing its support of the annual grants. In 2026, more than a quarter of a million dollars will be awarded nationwide through the program.
Hallie Hill representatives received the recognition of an oversized $5,000 presentation check during a visit to Tractor Supply Company on August 15 as part of the company’s Animal Days event. The grant will help Hallie Hill continue providing essential care for the dogs and cats who call the sanctuary home. Hallie Hill provides its residents with respite and rehabilitation in preparation for adoption or, when necessary, a loving forever home where they can live with dignity, security, and compassionate care.
Support from grants and community donations helps provide necessities such as nutritious food, veterinary treatment, medications, safe shelter, enrichment, spaying and neutering, heartworm prevention, and other ongoing needs.
Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary provides a safe haven with quality medical care and compassion to animals in need while working to find them loving homes forever. Founded in 1988, Hallie Hill is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Hollywood, South Carolina, and is currently home to more than 200 animals receiving lifelong care and love.
