Tuesday, June 26 marked the opening day of the SuperZoo 2018 trade show floor and the second day of educational seminars. From 8 am to 3:30 pm, grooming sessions, retail sessions, service industry sessions and show floor talks continued the show’s educational schedule. Pet professionals learned how to most effectively manage a millennial workforce, attended a demonstration on poodle pet trims, and discussed the future of pet stores with a retail panel, to name just a few educational opportunities. The first of three days on the trade show floor saw attendees making their first connections with exhibitors, whose booths showcased products and services covering every corner of the pet industry. The New Product Showcase was also open to attendee voting through the SuperZoo mobile app. The day was concluded with SuperZoo’s Americana-themed Networking Reception, allowing attendees and exhibitors alike the chance to unwind and celebrate a successful show kickoff.
