Jones Naturals

Jones Naturals is a Rockford, Illinois-based manufacturer of natural, American-made dog treats and chews. The Jones family history as meat cutters and butchers can be traced back to 1859 with Stephen Jones, a meat cutter in New York. Each new Jones generation has been trained in meat cutting, passing down the family tradition. Through the years, their entrepreneurial spirit grew, leading to Robert L. Jones founding a small meat market with a smokehouse in 1970 to provide custom butchering in Woodstock, Illinois.

The first baked dog chews were introduced in 1987, and Jones Natural Chews was officially established in 1991. Eventually the company outgrew their original space and made the move to a larger location in Rockford, Illinois. Operations currently run out of four facilities, which have achieved and maintain Level 2 SQF Certification for Food Safety.

Jones Natural Chews has grown substantially over the years. The company’s continued success stems from continued support from Jones Naturals investment partners and a multi-channel brand strategy built on its commitment to using only American-sourced natural products and an unmatched track record of 99 percent on-time delivery.
