American Red Cross Canidae Heartland Partnership Helps Support People, Pets Facing Emergencies

Canidae, a trusted name in premium pet nutrition for 30 years, has announced the launch of Canidae Heartland, a new line of dog food recipes that delivers high-quality nutrition and gives back to the American Red Cross to help people and pets in need.

Like all Canidae recipes, Heartland will feature regeneratively farmed ingredients that provide complete and balanced nutrition in every bowl.

Through a new partnership with the American Red Cross, Canidae will donate 1-percent of every retail purchase of Heartland to help support the organization’s mission of providing relief, comfort, and hope to people in the wake of emergencies. The partnership reflects a shared belief that strong communities are built through connection, compassion and helping one another in times of need.

The funds donated through the purchase of Canidae Heartland products will help support the organization’s efforts to offer compassion and care when it’s needed most.

The name, “Heartland,” also reflects the origin of the food, and the hard-working farmers whose regenerative farming practices help improve soil health for healthy crops and nutrient-rich ingredients. Canidae sources regeneratively farmed oatmeal, pearled barley and whole grain sorghum from trusted farmers for its Heartland recipes, which are cooked in their own facility in Brownwood, Texas, with the highest quality and safety standards.

With four recipes that feature real chicken, salmon or lamb as the first ingredient, Canidae Heartland delivers high-quality protein to help support dogs’ strength, energy and overall well-being.
