Zealandia Pet Food, a premium pet nutrition brand and member of the Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC), has officially launched in the United States.
The Zealandia launch introduces a range of proteins sourced from licensed New Zealand wildlife and agricultural management programs that support both pet health and environmental restoration.
The Zealandia U.S. product line features proteins sourced entirely from New Zealand, including wild brushtail possum, wallaby, and goat. These species are widely recognized in New Zealand for their impact on native flora, fauna, and marine ecosystems. By incorporating these proteins into high-quality pet food, Zealandia helps support population management efforts while reducing reliance on conventional livestock farming.
“Our approach is simple: nourish pets while contributing to a healthier ecosystem,” said Andrew Burch, Director at Zealandia Pet Food. “By sourcing proteins that are already part of environmental management programs in New Zealand, we’re able to create premium nutrition with a purpose.”
All Zealandia products are made in New Zealand under strict quality and food safety standards. The recipes are formulated to deliver complete and balanced nutrition for cats and dogs, using clean animal proteins and minimal processing. Also available are the proteins Beef, Chicken, Duck, Hoki Fish, King Salmon, Lamb and Venison.
The U.S. launch marks a significant milestone for Zealandia as the brand expands its mission-driven model into international markets. Through partnerships with sustainability-focused organizations and retailers, Zealandia aims to support greater transparency and accountability in the pet food supply chain.
Zealandia’s products are now available to U.S. retailers seeking premium, sustainably sourced pet nutrition options through the distributor John A. Van Den Bosch in the Midwest.
