American (APN) continues to expand the national availability of its Supreme Source portfolio through new retail partnerships and expanded distribution at leading grocery chains across the United States.

Following the successful brand expansion of new Supreme Source products earlier this year, APN has added new distribution and expanded shelf presence at national retailers such as Kroger, Cub Foods and others, making the brand more accessible to pet parents while strengthening relationships with key retail partners.

“Our expanding distribution footprint is a direct reflection of the confidence our retail partners have in the APN and Supreme Source brand,” said Ryan Wilson, CEO of American Pet Nutrition. “As more pet owners seek premium food options made with high-quality ingredients, we’re committed to ensuring they can easily find our products wherever they shop.”

During the first half of 2026, APN expanded distribution through the following retailers:

  • Kroger Family of Stores: Four Supreme Source dry SKUs expanded to approximately 1,500 stores, including Kroger, Mariano’s, Roundy’s, Dillons, King Soopers and QFC.
  • Bashas: Six Supreme Source SKUs expanded to 53 stores.
  • Cub Foods: Four Supreme Source dry dog food SKUs added to 106 stores.
  • Food Lion: Two Supreme Source dog food SKUs expanded to approximately 1,100 stores.
  • Albertsons/Safeway: Two Supreme Source dry dog food SKUs expanded to approximately 650 stores through additional divisional placements.
  • These expanded placements build on APN’s continued product innovation and retail partnerships, helping bring premium pet nutrition to more communities across the country.

“Our focus has always been on creating products that deliver exceptional nutrition while being a dependable partner for retailers,” Wilson said. “This continued growth positions us to serve even more pet families and support retail partners with innovative products.”

Founded in 1972, APN is a family-owned pet food and treat company committed to doing pet nutrition better. Guided by the same values established by founder Jack Behnken, APN crafts high-quality food and treats using carefully sourced ingredients and strict food safety standards.
