Seattle Retailer Partners with Weruva, Nulo to Donate 50K Pounds of Pet Food to Shelters, Rescues

All The Best Pet Care recently joined forces with pet food brands Weruva and Nulo to gather donations amounting to 50,000 pounds of premium dog and cat food. This milestone, achieved through the pet retailer’s annual giving campaign, more than doubled the success of the previous year.

Throughout the month of October, for every pound of Nulo or Weruva pet food purchased at All The Best Pet Care locations, an equal amount was donated to local pet rescues, shelters, and food banks. Customers’ purchases were matched, whether they were buying food for their own pets or donating directly.

The donations will be distributed in early 2025 to a wide range of organizations dedicated to supporting pets and their owners, including:

Alley Cat Project, Ballard Food Bank, Bella’s Voice, Dog Gone Seattle, Homeward Pet, MEOW Cat Rescue, Motley Zoo, Pawsitive Alliance, Seattle Area Feline Rescue, Seattle Veterinary Outreach, Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, Washington Health Outreach, and White Center Food Bank.

“Our initial goal was to donate 24,000 pounds of premium-quality pet food to these deserving shelters and rescues,” said Jim Castleberry, co-CEO of All The Best Pet Care. “Thanks to the incredible support of our customers and team, we’ve more than doubled that goal — donating nearly $120,000 worth of nutritious food. The overwhelming success of this campaign showcases the power of community. This contribution will have a meaningful, positive impact on the lives of countless dogs and cats in our community.”
