On December 9, Petland Charities presented a $5,000 check to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Therapy Dog Program in Ohio to benefit the local K9 unit. The funds were raised via Petland Grove City and Petland Hilliard customer donations; Petland Charities then matched these donations. The presentation took place at Petland Grove in Ohio.

Franklin County Sergeant Jason Ratliff, Deputy Darrah Metz (Mattis handler), therapy dog Mattis and Petland Charities Director Ed Sayres were at the ceremony.

The check ceremony was part of Petland Charities’ holiday charity event, which included food, games, face painting and photos with Deputy Metz and Mattis.
