PAWS and Big Barker Team Up for Holiday Dog Bed Donation

December 19, 2016

On Wednesday, December 14, Big Barker donated about 30 specialty orthopedic dog beds to Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Philadelphia’s largest no-kill shelter dedicated to saving and finding homes for homeless, abandoned and unwanted animals in our area. Additional beds were then donated to foster families.

“Big Barker is honored to work with Philadelphia’s largest no-kill shelter in order to provide beds to homeless and unwanted dogs while they await their forever homes,” said Eric Shannon, founder and president of Big Barker. “We hope to provide them with some extra comfort in their home away from home.”

The joint-healthy and supportive beds will be used to outfit PAWS facilities in Grays Ferry, Old City and Bustleton, Pennsylvania, as well as a number of foster families across the Delaware Valley.
