The nomination period for the Pet Age’s 2021 Women of Influence Awards has officially opened and will remain open until 5 p.m. PST on Friday, January 8. This award celebrates the women who are leading the way by making outstanding contributions that benefit the manufacturing or servicing industry as well as the companion animals that we serve.

Pet Age is looking for those trailblazers who are influential in their companies, communities and the pet industry for the 2021 class of the Women of Influence Awards. Pet Age began its Women of Influence program in 2015 to honor and generate recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of women in the booming pet product field.

The list of past winners reads like a who’s who of the industry’s most prominent women, with recipients having held leadership positions at companies throughout the sector, including pet product manufacturers and retailers as well as businesses that provide marketing and grooming services. Winners have included Sissy McGill of Solid Gold Pet, Pamela Bosco of Pet King Brands, Jo Hunt of DHA Lifesetyle PR and Tierra Bonaldi of The Impetus Agency.

The successful candidates will have a solid reputation based on experience, integrity and leadership and have a proven track record of accomplishments. Winning the award signifies that you stand out from your peers, you are a leader who gives back to your community, and you mentor to support and inspire the next generation of women in the industry. The Women of Influence Award recipients will be recognized and profiled in the March issue of Pet Age.
