Hollywood Feed 2026 Silent Auction Raises Record Donation for Animal Rescues

Hollywood Feed recently announced that its 2026 Silent Auction for Rescues has raised a record-breaking $16,835 to support animal welfare organizations across the South, marking the most successful silent auction in the event’s history.

The annual fundraiser brings together Hollywood Feed’s customers, vendor partners and pet-loving community to raise critical funds for rescue organizations working to save, rehabilitate and rehome homeless and vulnerable animals. Participants bid on a variety of donated items and experiences, with every winning bid helping provide resources for pets in need.

This year’s total surpasses the $12,000 raised through the 2025 auction and nearly doubles the amount raised in 2024, demonstrating the growing generosity and commitment of the Hollywood Feed community to animal welfare.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s Silent Auction for Rescues our most successful ever,” said Kelsey Alter, Outreach Manager for Hollywood Feed. “Our customers, vendor partners and rescue organizations all play an important role in making this event possible. Seeing our community come together year after year to help pets in need is incredibly rewarding, and we are proud to be able to support these organizations as well as the lifesaving work they do every day.”

Proceeds from the 2026 auction will benefit four rescue organizations selected from across Hollywood Feed’s store footprint, including:

• Sweet Home Animal Rescue in Mobile, Alabama, which rescues abandoned and neglected animals and provides them with medical care and safe foster homes
• McKamey Animal Center in Tennessee, which works to improve animal welfare and address pet overpopulation and cruelty in the Chattanooga community
• Dallas Dog Rescue.Rehab.Reform. in Texas, which focuses on rescuing and rehabilitating dogs in North Texas and surrounding communities
• Humane Society of Forsyth County in Georgia, a no-kill shelter dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming pets

Ninety-five percent of the auction proceeds will be divided equally among the four rescue partners, with the remaining 5% covering processing fees, including credit card and auction platform costs.

The funds will help the organizations provide essential resources such as food, veterinary care, emergency medical treatment, shelter and other services needed to care for animals awaiting their forever homes.

The auction featured a wide range of items donated by Hollywood Feed’s vendor partners, including custom pet artwork and portraits, local experiences and gift baskets, premium pet supplies, high-quality pet food, toys, and exclusive vendor bundles.

“We know that rescue organizations are doing some of the most important work in our communities, caring for animals who have nowhere else to turn,” said Alter. “The success of this year’s auction shows just how much can happen when our customers, vendors and team members come together around a shared commitment to bettering the lives of pets.”

With $16,835 raised, the event represents more than a fundraising milestone. It is a tangible investment in the lives of animals throughout the Southern region and beyond.
