H&C Animal Health is a pet product innovator and five-year-old division of Chuck Latham & Associates (CLA), a leading sales, marketing and merchandising agency in the pet industry. Its new senior vice president and general manager is Scott Fullmer, who brings over 30 years of CPG experience to H&C including almost 20 years with Henkel, the makers of Dial Soap and Purex Laundry Detergent. Fullmer left Henkel as field vice president, and most recently was director of Business Development and general manager for Trinidad Benham’s branded division.

His experience includes sales leadership, sales planning, product development, licensing and brand management. During his time at Henkel, Fullmer worked closely with all key FDM customers, but has extensive sales experience at Target, Walmart and Albertsons Companies LLC.

As a Henkel brand and product manager, Fullmer launched Dial’s first body wash and extended the Purex brand into multiple fragrances and forms. Most recently, Fullmer developed and launched BeanSmash!, a new and innovative plant based protein snack/dip that is currently in regional launch. Fullmer is also named on two patents for Kingsford licensed products.

“We are very excited to have Scott on board leading our H&C sales and marketing team,” said Chuck Latham, CEO of H&C. “Scott’s blended background in sales and product management is just what we need for developing and launching innovative new products with our key retail partners.”

Fullmer will be attending this year’s SuperZoo in Las Vegas.
