General Pet Supply, a Midwestern U.S. supplier of pet food and supplies and a division of Central Garden & Pet Company, announced that it has expanded distribution into the state of Michigan. The announcement comes with the hiring of territory manager Katie Maliniak to help service the new area of coverage.
“We are very excited about expanding into Michigan,” said Bob Merar, president of General Pet Supply. “The expansion strengthens our footprint across the Midwest and helps complete our national coverage model.”
General Pet Supply currently delivers Hill’s Food in the Michigan area but will now sell and distribute most of its catalog of over 15,000 items. Last year, Pet Age named General Pet Supply as Distributor of the Year. General Pet distributes products from over 150 manufacturers, has seven distribution centers across the Midwest and provides delivery to 18 states.
