BARK, a dog-obsessed brand behind BarkBox, is back with season two of Who’s A Good Guest?, the show that proved once and for all that no human, however famous, can out-charisma their own dog.

Hosted by entertainment journalist Josh Horowitz and produced by BARK and Horowitz, the series returned July 22, with new episodes airing weekly on YouTube and Spotify.

After Season one turned actors into background characters in their own interviews, word got around fast – and celebrities have been asking Horowitz, on camera and off, if they can come on the show with their dog, Ryan Gosling among them. The response was so strong that BARK and Horowitz have already greenlit Season three, before Season two has even premiered. For now, though, this season welcomes Jake Johnson, Jacob Batalon, Alexandra Daddario, Karen Gillan, Chase Stokes, and Joey King, each bringing their dog along for a conversation that will inevitably get hijacked by zoomies, wet noses, and a smell no one will claim.

“I’ve interviewed a lot of people about a lot of things, but nothing gets someone talking like their dog does,” said host Josh Horowitz. “There’s no faking it when you’re talking about your dog. I’ve had people ask to come on the show just so they can talk about theirs on camera. Dog people can’t help themselves.”

Just like last season, every episode ends with the same can’t-miss question: if you had to launch a dog business tomorrow, what would it be? This season’s ideas feel almost plausible, which might be the best part, including a life-sized stand-in to keep a dog company while their parents are away, a sound app dreamed up for anxious pups, and a shedding-focused beauty line specifically made for a dog’s coat. BARK will turn each concept into a fully realized (and fully satirical) pop-up brand, complete with its own microsite, and every click helps fund real meals for dogs in need.

“We built Season one to prove dogs are the main character in any room they’re in,” said Dave Stangle, VP of Brand at BARK. “Turns out we didn’t need to convince anyone, the dogs did that themselves. Greenlighting two more seasons was an easy call. When the dogs are running the show, you just get out of the way and let them.”

Horowitz is the creator and host of Happy Sad Confused, the long-running entertainment podcast that’s amassed over 200 million views and 750 million impressions across audio, YouTube, and social media. A devoted dog dad to his dog Lucy, the pup who inspired the show in the first place, Horowitz brings that same curiosity and fandom to every episode of Who’s A Good Guest?, just with considerably more barking.
