Wisconsin-Based Momentum Carnivore Nutrition Unveils Four New Icelandic Fish Chews

Momentum Carnivore Nutrition, a Wisconsin-based pet treat and chew manufacturer, has expanded its Icelandic fish chew line with four new peggable multipack SKUs, bringing the lineup to nine unique cuts.

The products are available now through Momentum distributors and sales representatives. Retailers attending SUPERZOO can see the expanded line in the New Product Showcase and at the Momentum Booth.

“The first five SKUs in this chew line have been very well received,” said Rob Mellem, co-owner of Momentum Carnivore Nutrition. “Expanding the line gives our independent retail partners more options to meet what their customers are looking for, while giving them a compelling story to share around traceable sourcing and sustainability.

The New Cuts:

• Short Cod Chews – sometimes called a “throw stick”, this shorter version of the Long Cod Chew is sized for medium to large dogs.
• Short Cod Flatties – flat, jerky-style chews that dogs go crazy for.
• Short Cod Twists – the same format, but longer than the Tiny Cod Twists, good for medium dogs.
• Wolffish Flatties – Wolffish has no scales; its interwoven fiber structure makes it a longer-lasting chew that’s naturally collagen-rich with higher omega oil content.

Sourcing and Traceability

Every Momentum fish chew is made with a single ingredient: wild-caught fish sourced from Icelandic waters. The fish are processed the same day they are caught and are fully traceable back to the fishery where they originated.

Iceland is internationally recognized for its carefully managed fisheries, with science-based catch quotas and ongoing monitoring designed to protect fish populations and support the long-term health of its marine ecosystem.
