Recognizing the business growth and networking opportunities that the new P3 pet trade show offers to its members, leading industry organization American Pet Professionals (APP) has become an official Industry Supporter of the debut edition at Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois, from August 24 to 25.

“We are honored to have the support of a leading organization like American Pet Professionals behind P3,” said Dean Russo, group show director at Urban Expositions, producers and managers of P3. “Their mission, like our own, is built around offering networking opportunities and resources to help pet industry professionals strengthen and enhance their businesses. We know the co-promotional support that APP provides will be integral to the success of our debut edition.”

As part of the collaboration, APP will also be one of the hosts of the P3 Show Social on Wednesday, August 24, at the Navy Pier Beer Garden. All P3 buyers and exhibitors are invited to attend the P3 Social starting at 5 pm.

As an Industry Supporter, APP will promote the show’s offerings and the Wednesday Show Social through its membership communication channels, ranging from websites and blogs to newsletters and podcasts. On show site, APP members are eligible for free admission and badges will highlight their member affiliation.

In addition, members will also have access to the P3 VIP lounge on the show floor. APP will also be recognized on the P3 show website, show directory, mobile app show signage and other advance and on site promotions.

“The new P3 show is definitely filling a void in the Midwest pet marketplace, offering a much-needed gathering place to network, share ideas and find new products,” said Nancy Hassel, founder and president of APP. “We see the great business potential P3 offers to our members and are excited to be part of the launch.”
