At a time when the industry is confronting unprecedented challenges and is finding it more difficult than ever to connect in person, Total Pet Market was created this year to provide a platform that offers critical product and merchandising information and simple, user-friendly ways to connect buyers and sellers.
Developed by Pet Age, a division of BridgeTower Media, the virtual marketplace brings together companies across a broad spectrum of pet care segments and offers manufacturers an opportunity to showcase their products and programs to a diverse buying audience.
December has seen two more manufacturers, Tyson and Supreme Foods, join the list of exhibitors on Total Pet Market, giving them the opportunity to share information, photography, videos and other content assets with the rest of the pet care community. Manufacturers and suppliers looking to participate will be able to showcase products across multiple categories and can receive a personalized page to house videos, product presentations or other customizable merchandising content. Each personalized page will feature a concise “About Us” summary, as well as social media handles and other valuable marketing information.
Total Pet Market is available free for users to view offerings by company or product category with eight umbrella categories currently being featured at the launch. Additional categories and sub-categories will be added as the site grows and as industry needs warrant. Initial categories include Accessories and Food/Treats for Dogs and Cats as well as Health, Supplements, Grooming and Small Animal.
