In times of crisis, as with the recent hurricanes in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico and the massive fires in Sonoma and Napa counties in California, providing phytocannabinoid rich products can help lessen the anxiety each rescued animal is feeling. Treatibles, an industry leader in PCR hemp wellness products for pets, has to date donated nearly 300 pounds of chews to rescue organizations helping pets in these areas including:

  • Humane Society of Broward County
  • Humane Society of Greater Miami
  • Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League of the Palm Beaches Inc
  • Houston Pets Alive
  • Save A Sato
  • Dogma Animal Rescue
  • The Milo Foundation
  • San Francisco Animal Care and Control
  • Wings of Rescue (monetary donation)

The Sonoma and Napa fires are in the company’s backyard. As a matter of fact, many Treatibles employees live in these areas. Its CEO, Julianna Carella, instituted a policy whereby any employee wishing to volunteer to help rescues can do so on company time.

“Our love for animals goes beyond our work here at Treatibles. We are dedicated to helping cats and dogs find their forever homes,” Carella said. “That is why we donate our products to shelters and rescues across the country. Bringing calm and balance to frightened and reactive animals can go a long way in helping them get adopted.”

Some of the shelters and rescues Treatibles supports includes the Milo Foundation Sanctuary, Colorado Wyoming Vizsla Rescue, Memories of Besa Rescue, The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, Norcal Boxer Rescue, 2nd Chances Rescue, Wonder Dog Rescue and the South Texas Boston Terrier Rescue.
