Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural in the United States, continues its ongoing support of 4-H youth nationwide with the kickoff of its winter Paper Clover campaign. Beginning November 28 and extending through December 14, customers can “purchase” a clover at checkout in stores or at the Tractor Supply website to directly benefit the organization. Celebrating its 15th year, the Paper Clover campaign aligns with the start of the holiday season, giving customers a meaningful way to support the next generation during a time of generosity.

“4-H provides opportunities and experiences that have a real, measurable impact to millions of young people across the country,” said John Ordus, EVP and chief stores officer at Tractor Supply and a member of the National 4-H Council board of trustees. “As a true community partner, Tractor Supply is invested in ensuring that every student interested in taking advantage of those experiences can do so. With our customers’ support, the Paper Clover campaign, along with our exclusive 4-H products and in-store fundraisers for local chapters, enables us to successfully uphold that commitment and give one of the most impactful gifts there is: opportunity.”

Paper Clover funding provides scholarships, strengthens educational programs, supports leadership and public speaking training and more for 4-H members nationwide. Ninety percent of donations directly support students in the state where the funds were raised, and the remaining 10 percent helps advance 4-H programming nationwide.

In addition to participating in the Paper Clover campaign, customers can also support 4-H while tackling their holiday gift list with Tractor Supply’s 4-H Clover snapback hat or exclusive 4-H ornaments*. This year’s collectible ornament lineup includes baby chicks, a bunny and a miniature horse. Tractor Supply introduced the first set of 4-H animal ornaments last year, selling out in record time. Proceeds from both the canvas snapback hat and the ornaments benefit 4-H.

“We’re grateful for the support of Tractor Supply and its customers to ensure that 4-H youth are Beyond Ready—equipped with the skills to succeed in work and life. Together, we’re providing youth access to life-changing 4-H experiences offered in every community across the country, building leaders for today and preparing them for tomorrow,” said Heather Elliott, National 4-H Council’s chief development and marketing officer.

Earlier this year, the Paper Clover campaign earned the Gold Halo Award for Best Consumer Donation Initiative at Engage for Good’s 2025 Halo Awards. The award recognizes outstanding partnerships between for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations that drive meaningful impact for the cause and the business. Since 2010, Tractor Supply has raised more than $24 million for 4-H through its twice-a-year Paper Clover Campaign in all 2,300+ Tractor Supply stores.

As America’s largest youth development organization, 4-H empowers nearly six million young people with the skills to be productive, healthy and engaged. Its research-based programming includes hands-on activities in the areas of agriculture, health, science and civic engagement, and the guidance to succeed in college and career. In 2024, 4-H launched the Beyond Ready initiative to help 10 million youth become ready for life and work by 2030.
