South Africa’s Montego Pet Nutrition Expands US Reach with Distribution Partnerships

Montego , a family-owned company celebrating its 25th anniversary in June, is expanding its U.S. footprint with strategic distribution partnerships with King Wholesale Pet Supplies, Nelson Wholesale Service, Inc., Supply and Tickner’s Pet Food Distribution. These collaborations will significantly strengthen Montego’s presence across key markets in the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, Southern and Northeast United States.

The new partnerships will accelerate the nationwide rollout of Montego Pet Nutrition’s super-premium , KAROO Wild. Crafted with lean, hypoallergenic, sustainably sourced antelope as the primary ingredient, KAROO Wild delivers a novel protein option rooted in South African heritage.

The new distributor relationships will expand the reach of Montego Pet Nutrition’s KAROO Wild product line to more than 1,000 independent retailers across the country.

Free from grain, gluten, and artificial colors and flavors, the ingredient panel on KAROO Wild products features natural and organic elements that result in a rich, flavor-forward experience. Hypoallergenic properties make them a perfect treat for dogs with dietary sensitivities, such as chicken allergies. All dogs will appreciate the distinctive, full-bodied gamey flavor and soft, chewy texture. Each treat is high in quality protein (20 percent), low in fat (5 percent) and game meat is known to be rich in essential nutrients such as iron, amino acids and B vitamins to support overall pet health.
