Phillips Pet Food & Supplies acquired Best Friend Products distribution located in Chalfont, Pa.

In a letter sent to customers Friday afternoon, Phillips wrote, “for many years, Nina and William have been both a distributor and customer of Phillips. We have built a strong business partnership together, and are thankful they have decided to sell us the distribution portion of their business. Nina and William will maintain their retail location as well as continue to work with us over the next several months.”

It continued, “one of the primary objectives for Phillips is to build a best-in-class distribution network. We want to offer services that sustain the health of the pet specialty channel. We truly believe that a major component of this is being able to provide you with products and services from a single source distribution company.”

Best Friend will continue to take and ship orders from their warehouse through Jan. 17. Phillips will start shipping orders to from their Easton, Pa. warehouse on Jan. 20th.
