Pet Station held the grand opening of its first store location in Reno, Nevada, on Saturday, August 13.

The local pet supply is located in the Trader Joe’s shopping center at 5065 S. McCarran Blvd. From 10am to 2pm, the public was invited to participate in giveaways, free lunch for the first 200 purchasing visitors, a $200 raffle and pet adoptions in partnership with the Nevada Humane Society.

“We’re beyond thrilled to have experienced the growth we have over the last 10 years,” said owner Marshal Grattan. “We can’t wait to meet everyone that hasn’t had the change to visit any of our other locations and show them the Pet Station difference.”

According to Fox Reno, the new store features fish, ferrets, lizards, birds and an in-store dog wash.

Pet Station currently has locations in Spanish Springs, Gardnerville, South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, Incline Village and Truckee, all in Nevada. For more information, visit www.tahoepetstation.com
