Pet Age is accepting nominations through Friday, August 21, for the 2020 ICON Awards. Now in its sixth year, the ICON Award honors pet professionals who have shown a long-term commitment to the success of the pet industry based on experience, integrity and leadership. The award recipients will be recognized and profiled in the October issue of Pet Age.

To be eligible, candidates should have at least 20 years of experience in the pet manufacturing or servicing industry. Successful nominees must hold a senior management-level position with significant authority in decision-making for their organization. Candidates may be self-nominated or nominated by another person. Only one individual can be nominated per company.

Over the years, Pet Age’s ICON Award winners have worked with some of the market’s leading manufacturers, distributors, retailers, public relations firms, trainers and beyond. Past recipients include Glen S. Axelrod of TFH Publications, Gary Bagnall of Zoo Med Laboratories, Pamela Bosco of Pet King Brands, Gretchen George of PetRageous Designs, Jo Hunt of DHA Lifestyle, Blaine Phillips of Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, Peter H. Reid of Marshall Pet Products, Chuck Simons of Groomers Helper and Donald Young of Merrick Pet Care.
