New Toy to Be Modeled After Muttnation Sweepstakes Winner

December 6, 2016

Muttnation Fueled by Miranda Lambert, a Petmate plush toy collection, has announced the winner of its recent Mutt Spotlight Sweepstakes. The grand prize winner of the contest, which ended in late November 2016, will be the model for a new Muttnation Rescue Mutts plush toy.

Gina S. of Maryland and her Newfoundland rescue dog, Oliver, were named the grand prize winners of the Mutt Spotlight Sweepstakes. According to an announcement from the company, Gina rescued Oliver and helped him overcome physical and emotional issues. Gina S. is also the founder of companionbridge.org, an online community for pet owners whose companions require significant medical care.

“Oliver came to me as a rescue and was in bad shape; all over skin infection and severely underweight,” Gina S. told Muttnation. “We worked together to rebuild his physical and emotional wellbeing. His ability to live in the moment and let go of the past inspired me to create Companion Bridge, plus helps raise awareness for my illness, lupus.”

As grand prize winner, a plush toy will be created in the likeness of Oliver as part of the Muttnation Rescue Mutts collection. Gina S. and her companion will be awarded $500 worth of Muttnation merchandise and a signed photo from Miranda Lambert.

Winners for $200 product packages and signed photos from Miranda Lambert were chosen weekly during the contest. Participants entered the sweepstakes by uploading pictures of their rescue dogs to a contest entry page.
