Press release: Gott Pet Products

Gott Pet Products, the family-owned company providing pet parents with Charlee Bear natural dog treats and Hound & Gatos natural food for pets, has welcomed Fred Corbett to their team as mid-Atlantic and Southeast territory sales manager. He will be responsible for working with retailers and distributors, specifically building meaningful and long-term relationships with contacts throughout the mid-Atlantic and Southeast.

“Fred is an accomplished sales professional with comprehensive experience in consumer-packaged goods, field marketing, merchandising and account development within the pet food/care industry,” says Patrick McGarry, general manager of Gott Pet Products. “I’m confident that his extensive experience and background will serve as a great asset to supporting our rapidly growing retailer partner network.”

Corbett is recognized as an innovative thinker, with strong category, trade merchandising and pet product knowledge. No stranger to the pet industry, his expertise includes former roles as national sales manager, pet & treats at F.I. Emmert and vice president of sales at Signature Pet Products. Prior to that, he served six years as district sales manager, Pet Specialty Division at Mars Petcare.

Gott Pet Products has experienced a great deal of growth in the recent months. In addition to unveiling a fresh, new look to both Charlee Bear and Hound & Gatos, each brand has continued to make a splash by introducing new product lines. Charlee Bear recently debuted two new lines–Bearnola Bites, which are crunchy granola clusters bursting with aroma and taste, as well as their raw, freeze-dried Meaty Bites treats for dogs. Hound & Gatos also recently launched a new line of dry food for both cats and dogs that’s made with over 84 percent of the highest quality meat, poultry or fish and super-nutritious whole eggs.
