Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine honored two veterinarians, Michael Andrews and Craig Wardrip, with their 2013 Distinguished Alumnus Award.
Andrews, of Riverside, Calif., owns the Woodcrest Veterinary Clinic.
He has served in leadership positions at several veterinary medicine organizations, including as president of the American Animal Hospital Association.
Wardrip, of Palos Heights, Ill., co-owns the Crestwood Animal Clinic with his wife and classmate, Sue.
He became board-certified by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine and is associate professor of clinical surgery and chief of the Large Animal Clinical Services at the University of Chicago.
