ZIWI Adds Hughs, Schnittker to North American Team

ZIWI, New Zealand-based producers of premium air-dried pet food and treats, has expanded its North American team with the hiring of Joe Hughs as its key account manager and Doug Schnittker as its northeast territory manager.

Hughs and Schnittker will help continue to develop current relationships and create new ones as well as expanding its presence in the North American pet food market.

“Joe brings 16 years of sales and national account management to our team,” said Heather Hickey, ZIWI USA vice president of sales. “He will play a vital role in servicing and supporting some of our key accounts. He will be a great asset to our entire sales team.”

Schnittker joins the team with a previous background in the pet industry.

“Doug’s career began in natural pet retail and eventually moved into outside sales,” Hickey said. “We are excited to have him join ZIWI, as his personal views of pet nutrition closely align with ours.”
