Press release: Wag N’ Wash
Wag N’ Wash Natural Pet Food & Grooming, a full-line specialty retail destination for cats and dogs, recently announced it has signed an agreement with local entrepreneur Amy Putzler for the St. Louis area. The forthcoming location is expected to open midway through 2021.
A go-to spot for companion animals and pet lovers alike, the Wag N’ Wash location in St. Louis will offer self-wash and grooming services, natural food products and fresh-made bakery items that are corn-free, soy-free, wheat-free, preservative-free, with no filler ingredients. As the local owner and operator, Putzler will oversee daily operations and immerse herself into the community through various fundraisers and adoption events.
“I could not be more excited to bring the enthusiastic culture of Wag N’ Wash to the great community in St. Louis,” said Putlzer, an experienced HR executive. “Having lived in the O’Fallon area for some time, I know the region is filled with passionate animal lovers and am eager to fulfill the need the market has for a one-stop pet destination. Pet owners in St. Louis will soon have a place to wash ‘em, feed ‘em, spoil ‘em and love ‘em at Wag N’ Wash.”
Putlzer has a passion for the pet care industry. With an adopted Saint Bernard mix of her own, she saw a need in the local market for a different type of pet facility that offers multiple services, especially in a store as spacious as Wag N’ Wash. Putlzer upholds a business mentality in her approach to ownership and will work alongside 10 staff members to manage operations.
Wag N’ Wash is the leading place for pet guardians to find quality goods and services for their pet companions, and simply be pet people. Among the store’s offerings are various brands of all-natural pet foods for dogs and cats, supplements, toys, and unique goods. In addition, Wag N’ Wash’s do-it-yourself dog wash facility is designed to put convenience and fun into the “chore” of washing your dog. An added bonus is the in-house bakery features the most rare and delectable treats on the market. From Liver Bites to Pumpkin Ravioli, all of the pies, cakes and muffins are made from human grade ingredients and can be customized upon request.
“We are thrilled to bring the spirit and services available at Wag N’ Wash to the St. Louis community,” said Rob Flanagan, president of Wag N’ Wash. “Amy is the perfect person to bring Wag N’ Wash to the state with her drive for success and love for animals. I am confident she will uphold our mission to foster a positive bond between companion pets and guardians alike in St. Louis.”
