How does your pet prefer their meals to be served—Better Wetter or Nicer Naked?

That’s the question Vital Essentials is tackling with its Freeze-Dried Mini Patties and Freeze-Dried Mini Nibs. According to the company, it knows pets and their parents love the great benefits they get from Vital Essentials food: healthy coat and skin, clean teeth, fresher breath, more energy, etc. But what do they prefer at mealtime? The company has two super freeze-dried options for pets—Mini Nibs and Mini Patties. They’re both the same great freeze-dried entree but available in two different options.

Here’s the breakdown:

Freeze-Dried Mini Patties

• Rich smell
• Soft, juicy meal
• Serve mixed with water
• Simply crumble patties into dish and mix with water

Freeze-Dried Mini Nibs

• Crunchy
• Bite size
• On the go convenience
• Open bag and serve
• Serve “as is” – no water needed

“We know our pets have specific preferences, just like we do,” said Kevin Malnor, VP of Sales and Marketing. “Some cats and dogs like their meals ‘Better Wetter’—wholesome, nutritious food that’s soft and juicy—and that’s how our Mini Patties were designed to be served. Other pets are more accustomed to crunchy, bite sized food, no added water or broth, ‘Nicer Naked,’ and that’s just what you’ll find with our Mini Nibs.”

So we’ve added some celebrity personalities to our #TasteofVE campaign,” said Melissa Olson, marketing director. “Mr. Nibs is our ‘Nicer Naked’ spokesperson while Ms. Patty represents ‘Better Wetter.’ They’ll be featured throughout the campaign to help pet parents better understand not only how to feed our freeze-dried entrees, but also to point out the benefits of a raw diet.”
