For their attention to sustainability and measures to create eco-friendly products, Sustainably Yours has been chosen as a 2019 Eco-Excellence Award winner by Natural Child World magazine. These awards are the only of their kind to recognize excellence in the world of social and environmental sustainability for products committed to finding healthier, smarter and more ethical ways to do things.

The Eco-Excellence Awards host 14 categories with a variety of subcategories, ranging from nutrition and wellness to pet and cleaning products. Sustainably Yours was chosen for their exemplary waste management product by a panel of qualified judges and online voting from consumers.

“While making high performing, quality cat litter is our main purpose, our mission is to do so in a way that supports the planet and reduces our carbon footprint,” comments Luana Francischini, marketing director at Petfive, the parent company of Sustainably Yours. “We developed our litter with only two biodegradable and renewable crops–corn and cassava–to do our part in reducing the harmful process of clay extraction. We believe it’s important to give pet parents a sustainable option that is not only great for the environment but also makes the normally arduous task of cleaning the litter box simple and effective.”

In addition to their proprietary environmentally friendly litter formulation, Sustainably Yours Natural Cat Litter is partnered with the Rainforest Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting tropical lands and strategically conserve threatened ecosystems. For every bag purchased, Sustainably Yours donates a portion of the proceeds to this trust to continue their efforts of achieving a more sustainable way of life.
