Press release: Sustainably Yours

Petfive’s eco-friendly cat litter brand, Sustainably Yours, recently announced partnerships with Canadian distributors, Maddies Natural Pet Products and Leis Pet Distributing Inc. With these companies teaming up with Sustainably Yours, it will be easier for pet owners throughout all of Canada to finally be able to reach a plant-based, environmentally friendly and high-performing cat litter.

Maddies, a family-owned company, has become one of western Canada’s leading distributors with a vision to provide the highest quality of environmentally friendly pet food and products. Additionally, Leis supplies all types of pet food, products and accessories to eastern Canada. Both distributors will bring Sustainably Yours to Canadian customers from coast-to-coast.

“We are very excited about all of the opportunities that teaming up with Maddies and Leis are presenting to us,” comments Andre Santos, sales director at Petfive. “In working with these companies, I’m impressed to see how open the Canadian market is to embracing sustainability, making these Canadian partnerships perfect for our all-natural product.“

According to Santos, Sustainably Yours works well to clump and stop odors due to its distinct blend of corn and cassava, two ingredients that are natural, renewable and biodegradable. It also has a lighter color, helping pet owners to keep a cleaner litter box while also noticing abnormalities in their cat’s urine. Sustainably Yours comes in two different varieties, Multi-Cat and Multi-Cat Plus, for extra odor control and comes in 13lb or 26lb bags. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from every bag sold goes directly to the Rainforest Trust, an organization dedicated to sustain threatened rainforests and natural habitats worldwide.
