Stella & Chewy’s Issues Recall Over Listeria Risk

Original Publish Date: December 14, 2015

Pet food manufacturer Stella & Chewy’s is voluntarily recalling some of its products sold in the United States and Canada over concerns about the possibility of listeria.

A recall of 990 cases of products was prompted by a positive test for Listeria monocytogenes in Stella’s Super Beef Dinner Morsels for dogs in 8.5-ounce frozen bags during routine surveillance testing by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Retailers and consumers can find the full product recall list and additional information at www.stellaandchewys.com/stella-chewys-recall-notice/.

Anyone who has purchased these products is instructed to dispose of the food or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Customer service can be contacted at (888) 477-8977 or [email protected].
