Press release: Wag N’ Wash
Wag N’ Wash Natural Pet Food & Grooming, a full-line specialty retail destination for cats and dogs, has announced the opening of its first Missouri location in O’Fallon. The new store, which opened this month, is located at 4649 State Highway K and will be the first of its kind to enter the greater St. Louis market.
A go-to spot for companion animals and pet lovers alike, the O’Fallon Wag N’ Wash will offer premium self-wash and grooming services, natural pet food products and freshly-made bakery items that are corn-free, soy-free, wheat-free and preservative-free, with no filler ingredients. Leading operations of the new store is longtime O’Fallon resident and seasoned business executive, Amy Putzler.
“Words can’t describe how thrilled we are to finally be opening our doors in O’Fallon,” said Putzler. “The greater St. Louis area is full of compassionate pet lovers who have been eagerly anticipating the forthcoming location for quite some time now, and I can’t wait to introduce this one-of-a-kind pet concept to families and furry friends around O’Fallon. Pups and cats nearby are definitely in for the ultimate pet shop experience at Wag N’ Wash, and I’m ecstatic that owners will soon have a one-stop destination for all things pampering, washing and grooming to enjoy with their companion pets.”
With a passion for the pet care industry and an adopted Saint Bernard mix of her own, Putzler saw a need in her local market for a different type of pet facility that offers multiple services, especially in a store as spacious as Wag N’ Wash. Putzler upholds a business mentality in her approach to ownership and is also excited to immerse herself into the community through various fundraisers and adoption events.
Wag N’ Wash is the leading place for pet guardians to find quality goods and services for their pets, and simply be pet people. Among the store’s offerings are various brands of all-natural pet foods for dogs and cats, supplements, collars and leashes, toys and unique goods. In addition, Wag N’ Wash’s do-it-yourself dog wash facility is designed to put convenience and fun into the “chore” of washing your dog. An added bonus is the in-house bakery that features the most rare and delectable treats on the market. From Liver Bites to Pumpkin Paws, all of the pies and muffins are made from human grade ingredients along with cakes that can be customized upon request for special occasions.
“We’re overjoyed to be bringing Wag N’ Wash’s unique pet care services to Missouri and expanding our footprint further throughout the Midwest,” said Kristen Risby, president of Wag N’ Wash. “With Amy’s love for animals and knowledgeable business experience, she is truly the perfect person to be introducing our brand to this new and thriving market. Wag N’ Wash’s mission to enhance the bond between companion pets and guardians will no doubt resonate with the pet loving community. We look forward to seeing the relationships Amy forms within St. Charles County and all throughout the greater St. Louis region during her ownership.”
