Chuckit!’s annual National Fetch Day kicked off the festive season for dogs and their parents on October 16 by encouraging pet families of all sizes to get up, out and active to create lasting bonds shared through a fun game of fetch. This year, celebrations happened across the country with action-packed parties, creative one-of-a-kind Chuckit! Launcher designs, amazing prizes and some social good for the fetch-loving soul.

“We’re beyond excited to be back and celebrating the National Fetch Day holiday the way it was always intended – together,” said Chris Wilson, executive vice president of marketing and product development at Petmate. “Last year proved that no matter what, families will ‘Make Fetch Happen’ and this year gave us the perfect opportunity to pay it forward to dogs in need with help from a true animal lover and pet adoption supporter.”

This year, Chuckit! partnered with Katherine Schwarzenegger to develop a limited-edition Chuckit! Launcher Set and Gift Set, complete with a branded carry bag, water bottle, snacks and Chuckit! products fetch lovers won’t be able to get anywhere else. The sleek, modern design and collaboration underscores Katherine’s style and spirit, while offering families the ultimate bonding experience with their dog.  For every Launcher Set and Gift Set purchased, 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to Best Friends Animal Society, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to ending the killing of shelter pets by 2025, and a charity close to Katherine’s heart.
