The marathon will take place on March 15, 2015.
“I decided to join Team ASPCA for several reasons,” said Cullen. “One, I love animals—dogs, cats, horses, even potbellied pigs! Two, I am very active in the pet industry with my marketing agency. Three, animal rights is a cause that is close to my heart. All animals deserve our love, care and respect. I was looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged, abused and homeless pets. But what can I do? I don’t own an animal shelter. I am not a veterinarian. However, I can run.”
“This leads me to my fourth reason,” he said. “I want to run the 2015 NYC United Airlines Half Marathon on March 15, 2015. What better way to participate in a great running event than raising money for an amazing cause?”
Cullen reminds others to help as well.
“If you have ever been touched by a special animal or know someone who has, I urge you to make a tax-deductible donation to the ASPCA through my campaign page,” he said. “Your donation will help the ASPCA provide life-saving programs and services to millions of animals nationwide. As you can see, the ASPCA is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight to give abused and homeless animals a second chance at life. Please support me by making a donation and help me make a positive impact on the lives of animals. Thank you.”
