Petmate Launches Gamma2 Gives Hero Spotlight Program

Petmate, the leading global manufacturer of pet products designed to enhance the lives of pets and pet parents, recently announced the launch of its newest giveback program, Gamma2 Gives Hero Spotlight Program. The special program will celebrate and highlight the unsung heroes that work so tirelessly to improve the lives of animals and humans.

“At Petmate, we’re often given a first-hand look at all the amazing efforts many silent heroes across the country are doing to make an animal’s life just a little bit better,” said Chris Wilson, executive vice president of marketing at Petmate. “The last 18 months have really shown that despite such downtrodden times, there are still incredible people in our communities devoted to helping those that can’t speak for themselves. Because of this we wanted to give back in a big way and give them an opportunity to feel supported, be recognized and rewarded for their untiring efforts.”

Gamma2, Petmate’s unique brand of innovative food storage solutions engineered with strength and durability in mind, invites anyone to nominate a local pet-friendly non-profit hero in their community that has gone above and beyond and changed their life. Nominations include submitting a name, brief description of why the pet-centric, non-profit hero should be selected and a video or photo to support the nomination. Four finalists will be featured in a special video, highlighted on the Petmate website as well as its social channels. The hero chosen will be announced in early December and awarded with a $5,000 grant to continue their noble missions of enhancing pets’ lives.
