Atomic Bubbles, the U.S.-based brand transforming pet wellness through playful, functional bubble products, is proud to announce a new European distribution partnership with Van Der Basch Trading (VDBT), a leading family-owned pet product distributor based in the Netherlands.
This collaboration marks Atomic Bubbles’ first major expansion into Europe, beginning with retail rollouts across the Netherlands and select neighboring countries. Pet parents across Europe will soon have access to best-selling formulas such as Puppy Love Calming Bubbles with Lavender and Kitty Love Calming Bubbles, both designed to support enrichment and stress relief through interactive sensory play.
VDBT is a dynamic, family-run business founded by Robin and Jolanda van der Basch, together with Jaden Hewitt. With a strong focus on originality, quality, and service, VDBT specializes in unique, high-quality pet products that add real value to the category. The company supplies retailers throughout the Netherlands and several other European countries.
With two warehouses and a compact, passionate team of eight, VDBT partners closely with innovative American brands to bring trend-setting products to the European market. In 2021, co-founder Jolanda van der Basch became the first European woman to win the Pet Age Woman of Influence award, honoring her role in international product innovation and brand building.
“We’re always searching for products that surprise and delight – Atomic Bubbles is a perfect example of innovation that creates instant connection,” said Jolanda van der Basch.
“We are thrilled to work with a partner like Van Der Basch Trading,” added John Reider, CEO of Atomic Bubbles. “Their strong market insight, love of innovation, and hands-on approach make them the perfect match for expanding our footprint overseas.”
All Atomic Bubbles formulas are non-toxic, pH-balanced, and veterinarian recommended—providing a safe, calming, and joyful experience for pets and their people.
