Pet Palette Adds to Inside Sales Team to Strengthen Retail Relations

Pet Palette, a Maryland-based national distributor of wholesale pet products, recently welcomed Allison Irish as an inside sales representative. In this role, Irish is working to build and strengthen Pet Palette’s relationships with retailers in North America as well as provide a stellar ordering experience, and access to the best products the market has to offer.

Irish brings with her over 20 years of wholesale, retail and customer service experience. She originally came to Pet Palette in 2017 after working in a variety of managerial positions for the garden center and boutique furniture industries. Her tenure with Pet Palette thus far has included sales support, customer service and assisting with IT and employee training.

“It’s an exciting time to grow my career at Pet Palette as we’ve been making a number of big changes this year to better support our retailers, like lowering our free shipping and order minimums,” Irish said. “We’ve also launched a great new website at petpalette.com and over a dozen new brands, a few of which are exclusive to us.”

As inside sales representative, she understands the challenges that retailers have in competing with ecommerce suppliers in today’s online-driven world and offers guidance to overcome these challenges. It is her priority to ensure her accounts keep a fresh assortment of new and suitable products, at the best prices, so they can provide their customers with competitive pricing while gaining maximum profit.

“The rapport that Allison has already built with our customers in customer service and supporting them through wholesalepet.com, will continue to grow as she takes on this new role,” said Jim Geiger, Pet Palette national sales manager. “She has become a trusted resource to them. At home, Irish enjoys her small backyard hobby farm where she raises chickens and rabbits and has a garden and nursery. She is a cat mom to three happy felines, including a polydactyl “queen” named Princess Emily. She spends much of her free time outdoors kayaking local Maryland rivers.
