Pet Food Express Teams with California Rescues, Shelters for 14th Annual Pet Fair

Pet Food Express, a leading retailer and trusted partner in pet health, has launched its 14th annual virtual Pet Fair to help thousands of rescue animals find new homes across California.

From now to September 30, over 120 rescues and shelters partner with Pet Food Express to host virtual and in-person adoption events across 68+ participating stores throughout California.

In addition to adoption events, stores will host family and pet-friendly activities like pet caricatures, puppy/kitten yoga and a reunion party for adoptions from previous years.

Pet brands partnering with Pet Food Express are JustFoodForDogs, Nulo, Stella & Chewy’s, Open Farm, Vital Essentials and BIXBI. The month-long event builds on last year’s successful virtual fair which saw:

• More than 8,400 animals found their forever homes
• Over $211,075 in donations; with Pet Food Express donating $25 for every eligible adoption to partnering shelters and rescues
• Animal lovers seeking to make a loving adoption can use the “Find a Friend”search tool and filter by location, species or even age as they scroll through and learn about adoptable animals from over 120 California-based shelters and rescues

Those who adopt receive a special 20% off coupon for Pet Food Express as a part of the highly valued, year-round 20/20 program. In the month of September, Pet Food Express will donate an additional $20 to local shelter and rescue organizations once customers register with Pet Food Express. For every registration, customers will receive a free gift on top of their 20% coupon.
