What was the motivation for you to start Furever Fierce? 

I never thought a childhood dream and my passion for giving my dog the best life would lead me to create Furever Fierce. Growing up, I always wanted a dog, but allergies in my family meant it wasn’t possible. When I finally got my first dog, Grizzly, I became absolutely dedicated to making his life as healthy and happy as possible! Through research, I found out that 80 percent of dogs over the age of two have dental disease. I was shocked to learn that dental disease can cause pain, inflammation, tooth loss, and even infections that affect the heart, liver and kidneys — not to mention stinky breath and discomfort. 

When I started looking for chews to help prevent dental disease for Grizzly, I didn’t like what I saw on the market. Most traditional chews are full of preservatives and starchy ingredients that promote tartar buildup, while chews made from meat often come from sketchy sources. It became clear to me that just as huge corporations have completely messed up human diets with ultra-processed foods, the pet industry has totally strayed from feeding animals what nature intended. 

That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands and create a solution. Furever Fierce was born out of my love for Grizzly and my commitment to providing pets with natural, wholesome chews that promote health and happiness. Grizzly deserved to eat how he naturally evolved to eat, and so do all pets.
