Orivet Genetic Pet Care, a leading international personalized medicine and genetic testing organization, was named a Bronze Winner of the 2018 VETTY Awards at this year’s VMX conference in Orlando, Florida.

The award is in recognition of Orivet’s “Get to know your pet – personalized medicine is here” marketing campaign conducted by Orivet’s in-house marketing team.

The VETTY Awards are presented by the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) and are given to North American animal health marketing teams and agencies for their display of dedication, intelligence and creativity within the field of veterinary medicine.

The highest-scoring winners were displayed at this year’s VMX Conference, formerly the North American Veterinary Conference, from February 3-7.

“At Orivet, we are constantly building upon and improving our efforts to engage the public and explain the unique value of genetic torivetesting and how it can improve their pet’s health,” said Dr. Noam Pik, CEO of Orivet. “When you work as hard as our marketing team, being presented an award like this is gratifying and validates that we are working in the right direction.”

The VETTYs are focused on products and services contributing to the veterinary profession, including pharmaceuticals, pet foods, diagnostic equipment, professional associations, pet advocate organizations and more.

Orivet offers affordable personalized medicine solution products, which allow pet owners, breeders and veterinarians to better understand a pet’s specific genetic makeup and risk factors.

The company offers comprehensive genetic screening for both dogs and cats, using a simple non-invasive mouth swab for the general consumer or a blood sample card for veterinarians. Orivet’s DNA testing provides veterinarians with information about the pet’s genetic make-up and exposes potentially harmful genetic traits the pet may have.

Available products from Orivet include LifePlanTM,, a proprietary risk analysis tool, DNA health screening, breed identification DNA testing, full pure breed profiles, DNA profiling for parentage confirmation, and more.

Orivet’s products are available in the U.S. and more than 40 countries worldwide.
