Open Farm Launches New Traceability App to Promote Transparency

As part of the company’s commitment to ethical and transparent sourcing practices, the app allows pet owners to instantly trace the origin of every ingredient in their bag of Open Farm pet food.
By visiting Open Farm’s website and entering the lot code located on the back of pet food bags, users will be able to see where each ingredient originated from and was purchased.
The new feature also allows pet owners to view other sourcing information, such as whether an ingredient is non-GMO, Seafood Watch Certified or locally grown.
