Yesterday, Merial, now part of Boehringer Ingelheim, announced the launch of the NexGard (afoxolaner) It’s a Dog! online pet registry to celebrate the joyous act of adding a dog to a household. The NexGard team wants to help welcome new dogs—be they puppies, seniors or any age in-between—into their new homes and make the transition a little easier.
From April to October, dog owners can create a pet profile and customize a registry on ItsADog.com to be entered for a chance to win one of two prizes. One grand prize winner each month will receive $500 toward their registry and a coupon for a six-month supply of NexGard, while two runner-ups will receive $100 toward their pet registry and a coupon for a three-month supply of NexGard. Twenty-one lucky dog owners will win.
New pet owners can also find expert tips and information on how to help keep their dogs healthy, how to minimize housebreaking accidents and how to help protect their dogs from fleas and ticks on ItsADog.com.
