Nature Gnaws, the Florida based dog chew brand with an extensive line of your dog’s favorite natural chews, recently celebrated four years in business. The national brand started with two people to now over 50 employees. Nature Gnaws humble beginnings started in 2016 when they launched from the founder’s home and within four short years, they operate in a 30,000-square-foot warehouse offering more than 100 dog chew products. The brand is a top seller with online retailers like Amazon, Chewy, Walmart and Target.
As the nation continues to practice safety measures at home during the pandemic, there is an increased demand for pet products which helped grow sales and interest in the Nature Gnaws brand. This has led to growth in their distribution and more national retailers carrying their dog chews.
“The last four years have been fun, challenging and somewhat of a blur,” says co-founder of Nature Gnaws, Steve Mamak. “In a blink of an eye, we have gone from packing dog chews in my garage, to over 50 employees and selling in some of the largest national retailers. It’s been a cool experience to see how many people the business can effect in a positive way, both with our own employees and through our supply chain.”
Nature Gnaws, a South Florida based natural dog chew brand part of the family-owned Torito Brands company, started as a business out of a garage, selling dog chews that are simple, natural and delicious. In a pet market full of products with unknown or even harmful ingredients, consumers took notice of their single ingredient natural chews. In just four years, the company now operates out of a 30,000 square foot distribution center in Deerfield Beach, with over 50 employees.
