MACNA, the Marine Aquarium Conference of North America, celebrated its 30th anniversary in Las Vegas, September 7-9, 2018, at the Westgate Resort and Conference Center. The 70,000-square-foot show floor hosted 158 exhibitors.
With the largest turnout of attendees for any West Coast MACNA Conference, MACNA 2018 had 30 speaker presentations, 11 workshop presentations and 12 interest group meetups designed to educate, inspire and raise awareness among marine aquarium professionals, local fish store owners, industry distributors, hobbyists and scientists through topics surrounding industry, hobby, science and lasting education.
MACNA 2018 attendees represented 6,277 ticketed days of attendees and an additional 352 tickets days in the form of free children’s passes.
Pre-sales of exhibit booth and attendee tickets are currently on sale for MACNA 2019 “Celebrating Aquaculture,” which will be held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Florida August 30-September 1, 2019.
