Katrina Bauman Joins Matrix Partners as PR, Influencer Coordinator

Matrix Partners, a premier full-service agency specializing in the pet products industry, is excited to welcome Katrina Bauman to its growing team.

As PR and influencer coordinator, Bauman will be responsible for identifying and connecting with influential lifestyle and pet-centric bloggers and social media personalities to coordinate partnerships on behalf of Matrix’s clients. Working closely with the public relations team, she’ll also brainstorm ideas and content for client press releases and campaigns, in addition to crafting compelling pitches for new products and company news announcements.

Additionally, Bauman will help expand Matrix’s exclusive shelter sampling program, working with the agency’s current network of shelters nationwide to place clients’ products into the hands of consumers through shelter fundraising events, such as walks, silent auctions, galas and more. This program allows Matrix’s clients to connect with thousands of pet parents across the country.

A graduate of Elmhurst University, Bauman received a Bachelor of Arts in French language and intercultural studies, with a minor in communications. Before joining Matrix Partners, she worked as a marketing and communications intern for the French Chamber of Commerce in Chicago, where she utilized her copywriting skills to create compelling and persuasive copy for social media content, press releases, newsletters and more. When she’s not busy connecting with social media influencers, Bauman loves walks in the park with her dog, Yogi, and enjoys taking hip-hop dance classes with friends.
