K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel on January 30 celebrated its 15th anniversary along with the recent signing of its 50th franchisee. Founded in 2005 by brothers Steven and Jason Parker, the New Jersey-based luxury doggy daycare and pet hotel will open its newest location in Houston, Texas, this summer.

“Jason and I always wanted a dog of our own growing up, and that opened the door to a successful dog walking business as kids, which laid the foundation for our entry into the luxury pet care space as adults,” said Steven Parker, co-founder and CEO of K9 Resorts. “Signing our 50th franchisee in conjunction with our 15th anniversary is a thrilling achievement. We’re excited about the growth of our business and the opportunity to be a recognized leader in the luxury pet resort industry. Personally, I can’t wait to see what the next 15 years bring.”
